World Famous Yamboree!
The East Texas Yamboree is held in Gilmer each fall. In 2022, it will be October 10 - 19, 2022. Come on out and join the fun! There will be a parade, street dance with live music, food booths, arts and craft booths and a livestock show. See the crowning of the new Jamboree Queen!

Bass Fishing at Near by Lakes
If you like trophy bass fishing, look no further than Lake Gilmer. With a lake record of 14 pounds caught in 2011, and numerous double-digit bass being pulled out every year, Lake Gilmer is a perfect spot to catch your next “Biggin”.

Lake O’The Pines
There are few lakes in the state like the legendary Lake O’The Pines. With the most stunning scenery in the area, Pines captures all that East Texas has to offer in its beautiful 20,000 acre body.
